This was fucking insane and I had to repeatedly pause to yell. I've been telling people for years that Old Bay is a cursed seasoning blend and NOW LOOK AT IT.
People wanna clutch their pearls and act all scandalized because the content is problematic or whatever but fuck that. The actual writing is a breath of fresh air because it's competent. It's better than like half of the horror novellas I've tried to read in the last year and that's where it really belongs.
Frankly I wish it was longer and that the author pushed it further. I have nothing but time for gay cannibals living in the woods doing unhinged shit.
