Klara and the Sun
by Kazuo Ishiguro
Klara and the sun’s plot I felt had a lot to give. The way the story was setup, I felt I kept expecting something more interesting to come up. Terms like “being lifted” could have been explained. Some plot lines like why exactly klara was brought to the household was very interesting and so were the acute observations that klara was able to make. The way the author hid at the end whether it was indeed coincidence or divine intervention, made me hope a little more.
I think this is a good book for a setup for more novels to be created in this dystopian world.
