Whiskey Weather: A snowed-in cowboy romance novella by Lainey Lawson, Lainey Lawson

5.0

Absolutely DEVOURED Ledger & Izzy’s story. I’m not usually a fan of novellas because I want more (I know, so unfair… but I don’t rate books on that line), but this one was just… perfect. Do I want more of these two? Oh, hell yes. But I digress. Ledger is an amazing human who has his priorities straight, the same as Izzy who is a badass FMC. Should she have went with Ledger immediately? Eh, probs not. But it worked. Sometimes those chances pay off tremendously! Izzy is a photog while Ledger is a rancher, and they just fit. Neither has unattainable expectations of one another, they just live in the moment and enjoy each other for who they are. Their love is evident from the start, even if they don’t know it. The flirting, the shameless remarks, the silly banter, and the spiiiice. This one was just so good. Loved that Izzy didn’t try to change Ledger and that Ledger didn’t try to change Izzy. They were capable adults who communicated and that goes a long way. Loved everything about this one. Way to go, Lainey Lawson!!
