A nice collection of photos of illuminated and other antique Bibles drawing from the collections of the Bodleian. From early papyrus documents to Bibles written in Native American translations, we get a good sampling over time of how the Bible has been written, put into books, scrolls, so on, and translated over time. Many of these were not just sacred books; they were works of art. Book includes good introductions to each section. Pretty good photography.
