My third read through. An amazing, and extremely relevant, read about fascism that created multiple words that are still important in today’s political sphere. The author’s own life leant a lot of inspiration to this story as he worked as an imperial police officer for a number of years before quitting abruptly and becoming a writer who wrote and spoke often about the horrors of fascism and the abusive systems he was once a part of. His writing absolutely transcends time. Greatly recommend reading this if you haven’t done so yet. You will be shocked how much it parallels modern times despite being written right after WWII.
