Never Fade by Alexandra Bracken

*4/4.5

I liked this book a lot. It was much darker then I thought it would be, especially towards the ending. I like that the characters are very morally grey and that is hard to grasp who can be trusted and not, as nothing seems to be the right thing to do, only just less worse things, which makes for a much more interesting concept when you just have the "good" side and the "bad" side. I also basically like all the characters, which rarely happens.
The reason why I give it 4/4.5 stars rather than five, is partly because a lot happens. It's a very much action packed plot, but there doesn't seem to be any 'breathing' moments in between, which kind of make sense for the book I guess, but it would be nice to just have a few of those moments. Furthermore, I think Ruby, or basically all Orange at that, to be overpowered. With her ability, you can basically just let people do whatever, and it can be an easy way out for the plot
