The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald

I'm in awe of writers who're capable of writing stories that leave a mark on you, and that too with less than 200 pages to their story.

Gatsby, my beloved, flamboyant, bigger-than-life, too good for this world hero, who believed that love prevails all be it distance, time or marriage. He's such an enigmatic and flamboyant character who throws huge parties at his mansion, and people from everywhere come over, invited and uninvited. There are a hundred different variations amongst his guests about his dubious past and wealth, but he neither partakes in any discussions nor does anything to correct them. My heart was full for Gatsby and I wish he could have had a more meaningful life than the one he did
