I love this book but it is so hard to classify what kind of book it is. It’s definitely a love story. I have seen it listed as “time travel“ but I don’t think that description fits since it is more about someone stuck in time rather than traveling through time. I’ve also seen it described as “science fiction“ which totally boggles my mind because I don’t think there is any way it can be called that. But, whatever you want to call it, it’s a great story with a great ending.
