by Roberto Bolaño
After having read the first two books, I paused for a long time and finished this in a big swoop.
This novel contains multitudes. There is just so much color, so much backstory to every detail. It is like a big fairy and you are overwhelmed by it. Usually I am conscious about lengthly novels but it makes sense here. It can be highly depressing but there is always a smirky sense in the background.
