“A little more every day.” 🤍

Bourbon boys & love & a little bit of suspense = ideal reading vibes! I had a really good time with this oneee and it took me by surprise, especially with how absolutely wholesome (welllll.. not only) and hopeful it was. 🥺 tbh I have no idea what I was expecting, I randomly decided to pick this up and I ended up enjoying it!

I LOVED the setting and the descriptions — my knowledge of bourbon is…well I’ll spare you the sad details.. but I think my investment in all the glorious bourbon details would’ve made Damon Salvatore proud of me. 🙂‍↔️🙂‍↕️ the descriptions were so vivid, you could practically smell and taste everything.

“An awakening of sorts that made me recognize home as something completely different from what I had grown up believing. That it wasn’t necessarily a place, but a person.”

I fell in love with these characters :’) 🤍not only the two main characters, Laney and Grant, but also the secondary ones. The small town energy, the strong family bonds, people being each other’s support network. It was so so beautiful to see 🥺🤍
Let me tell you I’m BUZZING, I want to get to know the other two brothers more, I’m READY for their books 🫠😗 the vibes were already immaculate here.

Laney and Grant were on FIRE. The chemistry was practically sizzling, I was screaming at them to get together from their first meet-up. Every scene of theirs felt necessary and each contributed something to their story. Spice was OOF.. spicyingggg 🫣😌. Truly cowboys and honeys and whatnot, live your best lives babies.

“And I’m telling you, from one hardened heart to another, that no matter what happened, you’re allowed to find good things.”

no I’m not crying, what?! 😩😭
