wow!! the author's fatphobia sure was something! his descriptions of the fat character sure were more vicious than those of the actual fucking rapist, huh. 

and if that doesn't repel you from the book: it's a ton of actually decent setup and very little payoff, so like. 😐 i was actually very invested in the murder mystery part of it until the Big Reveal at the end, where it turns out this is one of those books that try to outsmart you by just. not foreshadowing huge chunks of necessary information. so a lot of the explanation comes completely out of the blue lol. thanks for nothing <3
