A Worthy Opponent
by Katee Robert
I’m torn over this one. On one hand it felt better to read than Desperate Measures (not hard to beat) and the ending was more climactic than Learned My Lesson, but it still didn’t FEEL like it was on-par with my other 4-star reads. But 4-stars it is because I cannot put it in the same category as the first 2.
These books are very much character driven, and the dynamic between Hook and Tink was *chef’s kiss*, her with her ‘fuck you’ personality, him with his ‘no but I love you’ simping. It was splendid.
