Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt
medium-paced
- Plot- or character-driven? Character
- Loveable characters? Yes
5.0
My first 5 star read in a long time, and it 100% deserves it.
Never thought I’d read a book with an octopus narrator, but I love him to death. His voice is pretentious at first, but it’s endearing. It made me cry several times because he is genuinely so sweet and caring. His point of view is so unique.
Loved the converging storylines as well. Shelby Van Pelt gracefully weaves the characters’ lives together.
