Unfortunately, this book just wasn't for me. The characters were one-dimensional and so predictable (e.g., he always got angry when even the tiniest little thing happened to Lilac). Additionally, it felt poorly written (essentially, more along a Wattpad/blog type writing than a published book) and like it could have gone through several more rounds of drafts and edits.
I'm very sorry I couldn't give this a more positive review, as I was looking forward to this book!
