“I’ve learned the hard way that insatiable girls don’t get happily ever afters. They eat their way through lovers and friends too heartily—and that they also want to be eaten alive, their blood drunk and their bones cracked open, is irrelevant.”
Well, shit.
I really done screwed myself over here.
I picked this up after a booktoker invaded my fyp to petition Simone to write a Fae series bc of how fascinating this novella was.
I’ve been burned by booktok enough by now to always approach recs with a healthy dose of wariness… but—as much as this pains me to say—those bitches might’ve been onto sumn this time. Which is highly inconvenient for me seing as, once again, this is a stand-alone novella.

Even when I win, somehow I still lose :’)
