Did not finish book. Stopped at 11%.

I think this won’t be a fruitful read based on two reasons:

1. The rambling style of this oral history rivals the noise in my head and it’s just too much to take in both. 
2. I’m a sceptic who won’t stand for a discernible Soviet smear campaign such as this one, especially since it’s claiming to be non-political. I find works created immediately after the fall fascinating, but just not for me.
