Faith and the Beloved
by Kochery C. Shibu
“keep silent because the world of silence is a vast fullness”.
“Faith and the beloved” by “Kochery C Shibu” is a spine-chilling crime thriller with various bomb blast victims in a backdrop. The story revolves around three protagonists who are on a journey to protect their loved ones at any cost.
The theme of the story is based on arrogance, revenge, love, and betrayal. The story starts with Alice who ran away from a murder scene. Then there is a story of two brothers Aman and Prem who live for each other, but one incident turns Prem’s life upside down. The third story is about Naithy’s life choices. Later on, all three protagonists caught up in the same situation with the confusion between faith and purpose.
This is a great story with a powerful plot. The writing is great the character development is impeccable. I feel the author has a gift for maintaining suspense and he uses it brilliantly to keep the reader’s attention on the story. I would recommend this read to every thriller lover and looking forward to more work from the author.
