I loved the premise and so many of the tropes but this one just wasn’t for me. I DNFed still very much in the enemies to lovers stage but they were so mean and annoyed with each other - so much of it could have been fixed with some communication and it just left me very frustrated. I know I stopped reading before the author could bring things around but so far this book was so negative. She’s widowed, living with her depressed former in-laws with a tough past family life and is supposed to work with a recovering alcoholic chef MMC who deals with extreme ADHD and also had horrible parents. I did like the idea of all the representation, curvy or average bodies, grief and ADHD but this one isn’t bringing me joy.
