I love this book so much! I read it as a kid and was carrying it as a gift for my niblings but got stuck at the airport and ended up rereading the whole thing. It follows a group of friends as they challenge an unjust but unexamined system of social hierarchies in their cities, and the world building is great. Can’t wait to reread the rest of the series.
