Molly's Game [movie Tie-In]: The True Story of the 26-Year-Old Woman Behind the Most Exclusive, High-Stakes Underground Poker Game in the World by Molly Bloom

I’m such a sucker for celebrity gossip, and this scratched that itch beautifully. Molly Bloom is a decent writer and I found this to flow perfectly, keeping me hooked and thinking about what came next when I couldn’t read the book!
It’s been interesting to see what the movie decided to insert into the narrative that the book doesn’t. I wonder if everything different is just made up for the sake of the movie, or if they’ve been confirmed to have happened.
The ending felt abrupt, but that’s to be expected given the circumstances! I really enjoyed the education of poker rules and terms, really helped make it immersive.
My toxic trait is that for some reason this whole thing has resulted in a primal desire for Tobey Maguire and I couldn’t even begin to psychoanalyze that.
