Leia: Princess of Alderaan by Claudia Gray

3.0

I have started to really like listening to Star Wars audiobooks. They have music, sounds affects, and great narrators.
I really enjoyed "Rebel Rising," which takes place before Rogue One. "Leia" Princess of Alderaan," takes place around the same time as "Rebel Rising."
I do have to say I enjoyed "Rebel Rising," more than this one. Rogue One is of my favorite of the Star Wars movies, so maybe that is why. I did enjoy this book, however.
I loved getting to know Princess Leia as a teenager. The things that happen to her in this book really help to explain the way she is in the movies.

The reason why I am not giving it a higher rating is that I found some parts of the story to be uninteresting. I think I would have liked more moments of life on Alderaan, than moments spent exploring random planets. I also would have liked there to be more scenes with Keer and Leia. I didn't feel myself rooting for their relationship much, because there weren't very many romantic scenes.
That being said, I still liked this book.

My rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars
