Duke, Actually

In general, I liked the premise and that Max and Dani began with a friendship. Their new found friendship gave them a distraction from their individual messy lives. I liked their story and how it all came together.
I wanted this book to be 100 pages shorter. It felt like it dragged for awhile. Had this been shorter and gotten to the point, I would've liked it more. But overall, it was a cute, enjoyable Christmas read.
I read this book without reading the first book of the series (I plan to go back); I don't feel like I missed out on anything by doing that. This book could stand on its own.
