Forgot this one in my last batch of reviews.
A little reminiscent of [b:Enchanted, Inc.|603398|Enchanted, Inc. (Enchanted, Inc., #1)|Shanna Swendson|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1388469170l/603398._SY75_.jpg|589968] - a sweet naive protagonist is thrust into a magical world. But this is much, much darker. An interesting premise, and no romance where it was expected, which I appreciated.
I did *not* like the protagonist much - she starts out and a willfully oblivious idiot, but I was drawn in enough to read book two.
