Meet Me at the Lighthouse by Mary Jayne Baker
5.0
I loved Meet me at the lighthouse!!
It’s a lovely feel good read with the perfect characters and a lighthouse! It’s not everyday I read a book about a lighthouse!
I laughed throughout the book, with the antics Bobbi got up to really did remind me of Bridget Jones!
The book has two main characters – Bobbi and Ross, followed by a community of characters, all of whom are relevant to the story. You will come across the characters you can’t help but love and hate! What I loved about all the characters was how they all came together.
I whizzed right through this book, it was like I was watching a movie rather than reading, it played out vividly in my mind and I really felt like I was there, amongst all the characters and scenery.
Meet me at the lighthouse was my first book of Mary’s and certainly won’t be the last.
I loved her way with words, the characters and their personalities, the scenery etc…
This is a book I can really recommend to all fans of Bridget Jones, Carole Matthews and Trisha Ashley.
