This One Summer by Mariko Tamaki

Dunno if I should really be reviewing this as I'm definitely not in the target audience (male, 36, rather than girl, teen), but honestly, give this one a go. Firstly it's a good story to just chill and relax with. The pacing is comfortably slow, with plenty room for reflection and discussion. At the same time, it manages to cover a lot of important subjects, giving readers plenty of food for thought.

I think I would've enjoyed this book a lot as a teenager.
