The Power by Naomi Alderman

5.0

Really enjoyed reading this book, very thought-provoking and very dark... enjoyed the commentary on humanity, power, politics and oppression. I enjoyed reading it and felt it was an experience that makes me think about a lot fo things.
Some criticism is that it doesn't mention trans issues which I think would be meaningful. On a less important note, there is a terrible cockney accent for the one English character (or that's what I heard in my head, you know, like an American failing miserably at an English accent?) No one says bloody this much in England, or blooming heck, or any of this pls stop aghhhh ok I'm done.
