I think I liked this more than other people but I do see the criticisms.
First what I liked:
-Bryce healing the land
- connections with the ACOTAR & TOG universes
- the fire sprites
- when the fallen are risen & shahar helping Hunt
-the link between Lidia & Aelin
- I liked that Hunt was a son of Hel but wish that could’ve been explored more
What I didn’t love as much:
- a bit too much of Ithan’s story line &trying to revive Sigrid when she’s obviously dead, then Sigrid’s character sort of going nowhere
- could have been more time / time better spent in ACOTAR world
- some of the romance scenes right before they’re about to go kill the Asteri were a bit out of place for me
-where did the Dragon go? Will Hypaxia reclaim the witch throne & unite the witches?
Overall though it ended with a good feeling, I think reading other people’s thoughts and reviews just made me analyze things a bit more! There were times that I laughed and cried & of course I’m keen for the next one!
