My Men: A Novel by Victoria Kielland
2.0

Don't remember where I heard about this or why I picked it up. Like others I went into this expecting a dark Scandinavian murder/thriller - it's a fictionalized take on a real female serial killer, translated from Norwegian - and while I respect that it tries to be something different, it's such a head trip - just a journey into this woman's psyche and mind - that I was ultimately distracted most of the time. Some nice bits of writing, almost like lyrical poetry at times but I couldn't wait for it to end.
