Breaking Meredith
by Sean Moriarty, Izzy Sweet
4.2 stars.
This was a bit darker than the last two books, in my opinion. There was a lot more fight between Simon and Meredith than most of the other characters so far.
Simon is absolutely dominating, completely possessive, and protective. There’s not much tenderness. His love is totally consuming, and rough.
I mean they mark each other. Well. Ok. Meredith didn’t actually mean her mark to be claiming, but Simon liked it so he returned the sentiment. Slightly gentler than she did…
The sex was explosive and passionate. There was some spanking, some bondage, some reluctance from Meredith, some straight up stalker habits.
Honestly, I ended up liking Simon and Meredith so much I’ve decided to continue reading the series to see more of their story play out, even though I had decided to stop here when I first picked up this book.
I really enjoyed reading this. I just wish we got to see more of their relationship play out.
That ending really has me intrigued though.
