Doom Forge
by James A. Hunter
I'm impressed that Hunter is able to keep this going without making it turn into a boring resource management game. Grim Jack is more or less a king at this point, but we "escape" from the tedium of his admin work with a vital quest from one of the overminds. He has to face impossible odds to beat his toughest quest yet, and he can only bring six party members along with him, narrowing the scope of the puzzle and preventing him from brute-forcing it. Enjoyable storyline, but I'm hoping Hunter takes a different direction soon as Jack becomes more and more ridiculously powerful.
