Thank you to the author for gifting me an eARC!

I picked up Charm after reading A.K. Caggiano’s addition to the Falling for Demons series, and as someone who doesn’t usually like cosy fantasy, I’ve loved reading both of them. I hadn't previously read any of the Winter's books, but I found this one to be well-written and very atmospheric.

I enjoyed the cosy apothecary vibes and finding more about the demon world and how humans are adapting to their new lifestyles. I loved the disability rep and seeing how Kiz made changes as he learnt about Aofe’s disability, and Attie was an absolute cutie! Kiz and Aofe’s relationship was so sweet and kind, and I liked that their dynamic was so different from Sev and Ember’s that we saw in Court.
The greenhouse scene was perfect 💕

Personal preferences did bring my rating down a little. I wasn’t as much of a fan of the romance and spice in this book, mostly because it was very insta-lust and I like a slow burn. I’m also not a sunshine x sunshine person, but I can appreciate the dynamic here.
