Koimonogatari: Love Stories, Volume 1 by Tohru Tagura

3.0

I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review

Despite a weird and hard read on a tablet or phone formatting, I did manage to get through this book through expert squinting to read the bubbles and the aid of a magnifying glass.

This book happens at of a slower pace than most manga, so if you're buckling up for a ride, you might want to relax and be prepared to smell the roses. This book is a slow progression of a teen boy trying to figure out who he is as a person, what his sexual identity might be while trying being a decent friend to someone who has come out as gay.

Things to note is, that while the art is pretty, when you have to squint at the pages, people look a lot alike and sometimes you might get confused as to who is who. This, I think, was purely a formatting issue I'm sure.
