Brim Over Boot by Emmy Sanders
5.0
“I can’t stop thinking about you. You’re in my f-cking head. Invading my life. You’re everywhere I goddamn look. Everything I see.”
Brim Over Boot is the second book in the Darling Brothers series by @emmysandersmm , and it was one of my most anticipated reads for this year!
We first met Colton and Noah in Sweet Like Whiskey. Colton is one of the Darling Brothers, and Noah was introduced as his ‘archnemesis’ (yes, the hatred is that strong). I knew I absolutely needed their story from the moment Ash told Colt “Maybe you two just need to bang it out.”
The two are both farriers in the small town of Darling, Montana, and are rivals both personally and professionally.
I absolutely loved their story! The rivalry is strong from the start, and even when things start to shift the tension between them remains, leading to some super 🔥 moments between them.
Noah’s dirty talk is exceptional, and the nickname Little Colt was absolute perfection.
If you like arguing as a form of foreplay- you’ll definitely love their dynamic.
I also adored the appearances of the rest of the Darling Family, and am already super excited for Lawson’s book next, and Remi’s after that!
Emmy has absolutely crushed it again with this enemies to lovers story. Give Colton “goddamn” Darling and Noah “f-cking” king a chance- you won’t regret it!
