It seems that anything Ali Smith write I can't dislike. This story was so full of humanity, delicate and piercing at times. This book had a dystopian setting which I usually struggle to read and it was stressful but it was also Intriguing. Just enough is said to let you imagine the world without over explaining or losing you in the details. The characters feel real and dynamic even though they don't say much. Dialog is as always beautiful. I'm excited to read the following book!
