Diverse cast of characters: Yes

Loved it. Dark and fascinating, the kind of tale and ideas that made my skin crawl with just the right kind of horror (I'm a sucket for mushroon/ nature related horror). Despite it being pretty short, it felt a bit slow at the beginning, but definitely made up for it. The worldbuilding and the way pronouns worked were intriguing as well
