The Spanish Love Deception by Elena Armas
5.0
Can we take a moment to appreciate that the miscommunication trope was NOT there?
I had anticipated this book for WAY TOO LONG, and when I finally gave in, I DID NOT regret it.
A slow-burn indeed, but full of exciting twists and turns in a relationship I know I'll never find (glad Catalina found it though). I learned that cartoon covers are for fools. The tension and the spice is something I live for now.
All characters had their own depth. I personally related to Lina on such a level that genuinely blew my mind, and Aaron is THE perfect man (bye bye real men, my expectations are too high now).
This book satisfied my every need. I couldn't put it down and I can't let their story go.
