Continuing on the comfort-read jag. Still loving it, WW2 has started now and shit is getting real for the Cazelets. One thing that strikes me about these books is the casual mention of insects in day to day life; lights covered in moths, flies buzzing. It shows how much has scarily changed about rural life since this was written.
