The 3rd and final book in the Vessel Trilogy (yes! You need to read the previous books!).
Bound in Black starts off with an author’s note explaining that this trilogy was her first and therefore different from what she publishes now. While it IS darker, the world building is imaginative and this entire trilogy has been well written and utterly riveting. So- all in all, the usual for any Juliette Cross novel. The fact that this was her debut just honestly puts a lot of pressure on anyone who hopes to one day be a debut author.
