Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury

"'Don't haggle and nag them; you were so recently of them yourself. They are so confident that they will run on forever. But they won't run on. They don't know that this is all one huge, big blazing meteor that makes a pretty fire in space, but that someday it'll have to hit. They see only the blaze, the pretty fire, as you saw it.'" - Faber pg. 103

This was a really interesting book set in a society that moves too fast to remember, too fast to care, until for one person it slows down and the domino effect starts.

I was pleasantly surprised, there were a few things that were creepy but the storyline and the way everything came together just worked and I did really like the writing style. I can see where this should be a dystopian classic, amazing for its time and still relevant even now! Though Montag's world is much different than ours, there was so much I could relate to after peeling back the drama of it all.

Definitely a good book to be discussed in schools especially high-level English classes, I'm excited to talk about it and unpack it more in class!
