The Stranger Beside Me
by Ann Rule
It was very detailed, and covered the murders, survivors, and alleged survivors really well. It was an interesting perspective from someone that knew Ted. You can see where she went from being a friend, to being a suspicious friend, to knowing without a doubt that he was guilty. It's a long read, and sometimes gets rather long winded, but I suspect that I, too, would have a lot of thoughts to sort if I was friends with a serial killer.
