This is one of those slow builds (which I enjoy).

I was pulled in from the beginning, I kept needing more.

Main Players: You have a woman kept in captivity for years, her serial killer captor, his daughter, and his crazy stalker.

POV's - Women in the shed, Emily, Cecilia........and other women he has killed.

I really liked the structure of this book. You come right into the POV of "Women in the Shed" and then eventually you learn how she got there. Emily's POV you aren't sure of her purpose until, you do.

This is not action-y, this is not fast paced.  But I still think this was quite suspenseful and tense.

I think if you like The Silent Patient, you would like this.

What would have made this 5 stars would have bill Aidan's pov.
