I just can’t even… what did I just read?! This was E.P.I.C! Nikolai is just a legend in the Grishaverse, he is by far one of my favourite characters and I love his duology (I may say it’s much better than Shadow and Bone…!) and Zoya… she was my least favourite SAB character and I didn’t expect to love her much but I love her, she’s a badass!
One of the things I loved most about this book is that we see the return of some of our much loved Grishaverse characters - yes, Mr Kaz Brekker makes an appearance! I was literally jumping for joy when I realised we got some scenes in the Dregs with our Crows!
I read the last 300 or so pages of this in one sitting because I just couldn’t stop - everything reaches the ultimate climax and it had me on the edge of my seat.
Wonderful, amazing, all the stars!
