Overall an enjoyable read, definitely needed to adjust to the number of perspectives and voices going on. I wasn't crazy about the amount of philophizing on power and mortality- I hope the next installment picks up the pace a bit. Magic system is definitely cool, I liked the physical magic especially as I haven't come across one so science/physics based!
