Mechanical Hearts is a fun, quick read. This story has great world building and an interesting new apocalyptic twist. I liked Nicole Blanchard's ideas on survival and how the "war/pollution" changed people and animals. Ezra is Captian Nemo-ish and Caroline is strong-willed. These characters have great chemistry and I would love to learn more about their story.
