Aquaman (2016-) #1 by Drew Hennessy, Dan Abnett, Gabe Eltaeb, Brad Walker

adventurous medium-paced

3.0

The Justice League has given Arthur a chance to prove his innocence. Mera continues to be concerned about how the prophecy of the destruction of Atlantis, possibly by her hand, will affect the approval of her marriage to Aquaman. It sucks that Mera is this concerns about the issue, but I can understand why the elders would be against their union. I would like to know if they have precedent to how accurate their predictions of the future are, though. Aquaman doesn't look to be in the best light to the United States by the end of the issue, unfortunately. This N.E.M.O. organization sure has a talent for framing the poor dude.
