I was a little worried when I read the summary of the book because I can not handle another stupid book based on the idea of suffering with out my love for some self made season (like the second Twilight). I was presently surprised. McMann keeps getting better with her writing or maybe I an just used to her style now. Each book go the series has gotten progressively better which is good because I hated the first one. I like that she didn't wrap it up all neatly with some magic fix. I also liked how through out the series Janie seems so grow as a person. The Morton's Fork idea was well played out. The pacing was good. The series wraps up nicely but could also have room for more books. I am glad I didn't give up after the first book.
