I will forever and always love Poirot books. They are my favorite because he is just fabulous. However, this one was a bit of a letdown just because I wanted there to be more of him in it.
Don't get me wrong this was still an incredibly interesting and enjoyable mystery with the classic whodunit elements that you get in all Agatha Christie books. A lot of little gray cell moments that are delightful and a cast of characters who are equal parts eccentric and relatable.
Without saying too much and spoiling anything. This book starts with a dinner party where one of the guests dies. It is deemed natural causes until later. Another dinner party with a lot of the same guests is held and another person dies only this time it's poison.
