I found myself trying to figure out how and where the things from the little mermaid I grew up knowing and this modern retelling. I actually liked Vanessa's role in this story. Eric's band chicks were also my favorite. I was a bit miffed at how Eric handled finding out about Melody. But all in all a good time. Also, ADORED the sisters!
