Big Vamp on Campus by Molly Harper

4.0

This was a fun little story. It's nice to see Ophelia and Jamie through their own eyes, Jane is (naturally) prejudiced against Ophelia and they've got quite an adversarial relationship so it's nice to see Ophelia attempting to be a 'nicer' person.

It's really funny and an easy read, the inside of Ophelia's head is a bizarre, disturbing and hilarious place. Watching her adjust to living with humans is just as funny as you think it will be.

I was a bit confused about where it fits into the timeline it's released before book five but set after book five- my brain can't cope with that! (On her website it's still saying release Fall 2016 so I wonder if the dates somehow got mixed up) I don't think there were any spoilers for [b:Where the Wild Things Bite|27274410|Where the Wild Things Bite (Half-Moon Hollow, #5)|Molly Harper|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1449595111s/27274410.jpg|47328239] and it's set outside Jane's timeline- Ophelia and Jamie are the only two characters we see in this book who we've seen a lot of before- so it doesn't really seem to matter that it was released first.
