Truthwitch by Susan Dennard

It was enjoyable and fast paced. There is some kind of instalove? I'd rather call it insta-lust at this point because it's not like the characters are being torn between their feelings and what needs to be done, they acknowledge their attraction and that's it. They still stick with their BFFs/court/friends/family and are not trying to go back to each other, its refreshing.

Safiya was kind of annoying at the beginning, acting recklessly and NOT KEEPING THE DAMN SALAMANDER FABRIC. Girl listen to your elders for once. I can see why Iseult is her better half, the one who stays logical and grounded at all times. They have great chemistry together and you can really feel that they care for each other.

I read people complaining about the world building. Personally i found it good, easy to understand and giving enough details to give us a taste and want to learn more in the next installment. For example Tolkien didn't explain all at once in LOTR, so i dont see how you can complain about Truthwitch not building its world fast enough.

Overall, amazing friendship story and I'm excited to read the next!
